Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any overseas citizen of India dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the Protector of Emigrants in Form A, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every declaration of renunciation then held; and the Protector of Emigrants shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
