Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a dam who ceases to carry on the maintenance of a dam shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the River Basin Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form F of the manner in which every water meter held by him has been disposed of.
