Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Government of Gujarat in the custody of the Assistant Registrar of Societies, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Government of Gujarat; and where the Assistant Registrar of Societies having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form F within one hundred and eighty days of the succession.
