Bye-law 2, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Inspection of The business of a corporate agent) Bye-laws, 2024 [SFN-000]

Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999); (b) "corporate agent" means a person carrying on the business of a corporate agent; (c) "proposal form" means a proposal form received, held or disposed of by a corporate agent in the course of the business of a corporate agent; (d) "Form IRDA-6" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
