Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the recognised agent shall apply to the Registrar in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
