Periodical return.—Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall furnish to the Tahsildar, within forty-five days of the close of each year, a return in Form 1 of every demand notice received, held and disposed of during that year, and shall preserve a copy of the return for forty-five days from the date on which it is furnished.
