Clause 2, Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) (Demand notice Control) Order, 2023 [SFK-3SE]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973); (b) "allottee of surplus land" means a person carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land; (c) "demand notice" means a demand notice received, held or disposed of by a allottee of surplus land in the course of the holding of allotted surplus land; (d) "Form 8" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
