Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a hoarding shall apply to the Registering Authority in Form V for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Registering Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
