Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the public authority shall apply to the Lokpal in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Lokpal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
