Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the transporter of goods shall apply to the Commissioner in Form GST DRC-03 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
