Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the foster parent shall apply to the District Court in Form VI for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the District Court shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
