Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the toll plaza operator shall apply to the State Transport Authority in Form 30 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the State Transport Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
