Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the foreign company shall apply to the Registrar of Companies in Form AOC-4 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Companies shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
