Surrender of certificate.—Every foreign company who ceases to carry on the carrying on of business in India by a foreign company shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Registrar of Companies in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form INC-22 of the manner in which every register of members held by him has been disposed of.
