Application for registration.—Every overseas citizen of India carrying on the holding of an overseas citizen of India card shall make an application for registration to the Protector of Emigrants in Form B, within fourteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees and a statement of every certificate of naturalisation held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for forty-five days from that date.
