Safe custody.—Every overseas citizen of India shall keep every residential permit to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the holding of an overseas citizen of India card is carried on, shall record in Form E the description of every residential permit so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Protector of Emigrants within sixty days of the close of each year.
