Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of premises used as a polling station shall apply to the Delimitation Commission in Form 17A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Delimitation Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
