Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a reconnaissance permit shall apply to the Director of Mines and Geology in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Director of Mines and Geology shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
