Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a critical information infrastructure shall apply to the Controller in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Controller shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
