Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any manager of a joint family property dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Central Adoption Resource Authority in Form VIII, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every adoption order then held; and the Central Adoption Resource Authority shall enter the intimation in the register within thirty days of its receipt.
