Application for registration.—Every cultivator of irrigated land carrying on the irrigation of land from a canal shall make an application for registration to the Canal Officer in Form H, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every tube well held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
