Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the publisher of an opinion poll shall apply to the Election Commission in Form 26 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Election Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
