Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Directorate of Treasuries in the custody of the Internal Auditor, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Directorate of Treasuries; and where the Internal Auditor having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form GFR 21 within forty-five days of the succession.
