Application for registration.—Every author carrying on the publication of works shall make an application for registration to the Government of Gujarat in Form 5, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees and a statement of every work held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
