Surrender of certificate.—Every seaman who ceases to carry on service on a ship shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Haryana in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 4 of the manner in which every ship recycling plan held by him has been disposed of.
