Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the contractor engaged in a mine shall apply to the State Government in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the State Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
