Application for registration.—Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application for registration to the Sub-Divisional Officer in Form 1, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every record of rights held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
