Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a dock shall apply to the Registering Officer in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Registering Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
