Safe custody.—Every contractor supplying stores to the Force shall keep every defence work to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the supply of stores is carried on, shall record in Form E the description of every defence work so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief within fifteen days of the close of each year.
