Application for registration.—Every owner of a vehicle used for election purposes carrying on the use of vehicles for election purposes shall make an application for registration to the Chief Electoral Officer in Form 17A, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every nomination paper held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ten days from that date.
