Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any person executing an instrument dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Inspector General of Registration in Form G, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every impressed stamp then held; and the Inspector General of Registration shall enter the intimation in the register within ninety days of its receipt.
