Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a fishing vessel shall apply to the Port Authority in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Port Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
