Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a well on Government land dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Revenue Divisional Officer in Form 14, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register of holdings then held; and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
