Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the non-banking financial company shall apply to the Registrar of Moneylenders in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Moneylenders shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
