Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dealer in weights and measures shall apply to the National Commission in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the National Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
