Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the bank conducting Government business shall apply to the Finance Commission in Form GFR 41 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Finance Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
