Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any user of a weighing instrument dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Director of Legal Metrology in Form F, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every advertisement then held; and the Director of Legal Metrology shall enter the intimation in the register within thirty days of its receipt.
