Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the portfolio manager shall apply to the Recognised Stock Exchange in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five lakh rupees, and the Recognised Stock Exchange shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
