Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the multi-system operator shall apply to the Registering Authority in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Registering Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
