Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the allottee shall apply to the Rent Controller in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Rent Controller shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
