Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the foreigner shall apply to the civil authority in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the civil authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
