Surrender of certificate.—Every lessee of a village tank who ceases to carry on the leasing of a village tank shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Director of Panchayats in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 5 of the manner in which every tax receipt held by him has been disposed of.
