Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Plant Varieties Authority in the custody of the Examiner of Designs, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Plant Varieties Authority; and where the Examiner of Designs having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 18 within one hundred and twenty days of the succession.
