Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a shop shall apply to the Licensing Officer in Form II for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Licensing Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
