Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the toll plaza operator shall apply to the Regional Transport Authority in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Regional Transport Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
