Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the nominee director shall apply to the Regional Director in Form INC-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Regional Director shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
