Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the open access consumer shall apply to the Chief Electrical Inspector in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Chief Electrical Inspector shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
