Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any registered proprietor of a design dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 18, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every patent then held; and the Registrar of Copyrights shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
