Application for registration.—Every registered proprietor of a design carrying on the application of a registered design shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form TM-A, within fourteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees and a statement of every register held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
