Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the process server shall apply to the District Judge in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the District Judge shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
